Polini have designed it to work with both tuned and standard motors and designed it to increase the motors power throughout the rev range whilst retaining good pulling power in the low to mid revs, and all this while remaining outwardly standard looking. The famous Polini mufflers for Vespa PX 125/150 and PE 200 have been revised and refined, by reviewing the dimensions of the expansion; extra care has been taken with the drawing of the curve which has been fully re-designed. Performance have been substantially improved, especially regarding acceleration and maximum speed. The new version of the silencer is in black anodised aluminium and the cap is removable to allow the replacement of the sound-absorbing material.
