Malossi VX313689 Cylinder kit for POLINI XP 4S 125cc (156FMI) is built around a high-spec aluminium cylinder engineered for durability, precision and efficient heat transfer. The alloy features a high silicon content and a nickelâsilicon carbide sleeve thatâs diamond-honed with a double cross-hatch finish, all held to extremely tight tolerances. Each cylinder is CNC-machined and paired with its piston to within 0.05 mm for optimal performance. The piston is an ultra-compact, reinforced design using a special aluminiumâsilicon alloy with low thermal expansion and selective tin coating on the skirt to reduce friction. Itâs CNC-machined, lightened, and shaped to improve heat dissipation. The ring set is designed for strength and low drag, featuring a chrome-plated nitrided steel top ring, a cast-iron second ring, and a three-piece oil control ring made from a chrome-plated steel alloy. Because engine variations can be difficult to identify on some vehicles, Malossi recommends confirming stroke, gudgeon pin diameter and cylinder stud pattern spacing before ordering. This kit is 137.9cc (original is 125cc) stroke is 56mm, it has a 13mm gudgeon pin, and the cylinder stud spacing can be seen on the second item picture. Cross reference Malossi 3113689.
