The Malossi Lambda emulator is the perfect part to use when changing the exhaust system. The O2 controller permits to totally control the carburetion as to obtain the best air/fuel ratio. It fits in-between your bikes lambda probe and the CDI, Malossi Lambda emulator is a device able to simulate signals from lambda sensor which original CDI is expected to receive. In this way, original lambda sensor is used to obtain best carburetion without the original CDI noticing failures or mistakes. If you're fitting an aftermarket exhaust and not altering the fuelling, not only are you not gaining any power, your motor will be running lean, this means higher temperatures, poor throttle response and often a popping from the exhaust.
