With most small frame models now being over 40 years old, we are being asked more and more for items like these fuel tanks. Internal corrosion on old tanks can lead to unwanted particles entering the fuel supply and on into the carb, causing various unwanted problems. This is a genuine Vespa part, part number 1386172 this metal petrol tank comes in a black primer finish and is supplied with a bare fuel cap, you will also require a petrol tap VE13005 (or fast flow VE13092), the tank cap rubber seal VE13024 (or cork seal VE23011) and the nut to secure the tank cap closed VE13071.
