VE12163 SIP DIGITAL SPEEDOMETER - VESPA P125X, PX125E, P150X, PX150E Mark 1 models till 1983. SIP Speedometer/Rev Counter 2.0 â Modern tech in a classic design. A modern instrument cluster for classic Vespa and Lambretta models, developed with KOSO and built to deliver advanced functionality while keeping the original look. The 2.0 retains the classic faceplate and dimensions, with extra features remaining hidden until the engine runs. It installs easily using either the original speedo cable or an electronic sensor. The unit works on any 12 V system without needing a battery, is compatible with all common ignitions, and stores data securely via internal memory. You can choose whether the needle displays speed or RPM, and the updated model adds two trip meters with riding time and average speed, plus an adjustable total mileage so previous kilometres can be carried over. When paired with the SIP Fast Flow tap, older models also gain a fuel gauge with a flashing low-fuel warning. Overvoltage protection has been strengthened, and on start-up the gauge performs a self-test sweep for a subtle GP touch. A refined, OEM-style upgrade that brings modern functionality to classic scooters.
