VMC10000 VMC X1 RACING CRANKCASE - SMALL FRAME VESPA. .The evolution of tuning in the Vespa world is constantly evolving and VMC has decided to create specific crankcases for small frame Vespa's that can accommodate the most powerful cylinder kits with larger displacements available on the market. VMC has designed and created crankcases capable of meeting these needs with the VMC X1 Crankcase. The VMC X1 crankcases have the following technical characteristics: - innovative fixing system for the removable gear cable adjusters which, speeds up the engine change - increased wall thicknesses for greater resistance to mechanical stress - a very large cylinder support base and a lot of material in the underlying part which allows the creation of very generously sized transfers - cylinder inlet bored to 64.5mm to be able to mount VMC cylinders diam.60mm 144cc without having to carry out subsequent machining - rotary valve sealing pad in the crank chamber lengthened compared to the standard on both sides to be able to increase the intake phases without changing the balance of the crankshafts - boring of crank chamber on both sides of crank with a diameter of 89.50mm and central connecting rod passage of 92.00mm which allows to mount solid shoulder crankshafts with a diameter of 89 eliminating the rotating valve seat. - crankcase closure with 13 M6 Allen screws instead of the classic studs and semi-crankcase centering with 2 ground pins - in the gear selector area there is a milling to allow the mounting of gear selectors with increased mesh - Seat for flywheel side bearing with seat diameter 47 as on the Piaggio 50 special and 125 spring et3 versions - On the motor arm it has a bevel that allows you to mount tires as wide as 3.50 x 10 - All the standard components that are fitted in Piaggio engine crankcases are mounted in the VMC X1 crankcases. In VMC crankcases the ignition stator plate must be filed in the transfer area before assembly as the base is larger in size.
