Owners of a Vespa 50 Special (small frame) who have made tuning modifications to their scooters may need to upgrade their headlamp to comply with MOT regulations. VE (UK) now stock a replacement headlamp that takes a twin filament bulb.

The new headlamp is supplied with a matching bulb holder that uses the BA20d Bosch cap main/dip style bulbs. The lamp connects directly to the 2 headlamp springs and is larger in size, therefore removing the need for the internal headlamp rim. The headlamp is not suitable for halogen/xenon bulbs only.
